Acupuncture is a centuries old healing art that utilizes sterile filiform needles to unblock and free the flow of the body's vital energy/Qi, (proununced "chee") to alleviate pain, promote the immune system, and enhance relaxation to support body, mind and spirit. It can treat a multitude of conditions ranging from acute to chronic by going to the very root of the imbalance. Most find the experience to be very relaxing and painless with only the slightest prick or surprise on insertion of the needle that quickly dissipates within minutes.

​It is best to have eaten within an hour before your treatment as those who do not can experience light-headedness. Please wear loose comfortable clothing that allows access up to the knees and elbows.

Most often herbal prescriptions are used to support acupuncture or medical qigong treatments. However, sometimes it's easier to treat certain conditions with herbs  especially when daily acupuncture treatments are not available. The food we eat is also medicine and can serve to support or break down important cellular structures. An herbal consultation will also include a dietary review and a livable plan designed for your specific needs. Herbal consultations can be done in person or via video chat.
